Tremblant Training

Before we headed to Mt Blanc for a FIS race we had a short training camp with the Canadian team. The first day we trained slalom on a run called Kandahar, it was a quite challenging course which makes for some great training however it was terrible visibility.

The second day we faced dangerous conditions due to freezing rain, the mountain closed the north side where we had originally been assigned hill space. We then had to wait for the skiers to be finished with their lane space on Kandahar so we could set there. We took two runs and then called training because it was unsafe to train.

The last day of training we set a very challenging GS course on Kandahar, it was great training and I was feeling very prepared before the Mt. Blanc FIS race.
